As the Holy Week approaches, Twin Lakes Baptist Church is excited to invite you to join our community in celebrating this sacred time with faith, devotion, and reflection. With a range of activities and services tailored to embrace the spirit of Holy Week, we aim to create a meaningful and fulfilling experience for all.

The Significance of Holy Week

Holy Week, also known as Passion Week, is a crucial period in the Christian calendar that commemorates the final week of Jesus Christ's life, leading up to his crucifixion and resurrection. It holds immense significance and serves as a time for believers to reflect on Christ's sacrifice and the love he showed for humanity.

Our Holy Week Schedule

At Twin Lakes Baptist Church, we have meticulously planned a series of events, services, and activities for Holy Week. Join us as we delve into the different aspects of this sacred time:

Palm Sunday Celebration

Our Holy Week celebrations kick-off with Palm Sunday, marking Jesus' triumphant entry into Jerusalem. Join us as we wave palm branches and rejoice, remembering this joyous event. The service will commence at 10:00 AM, and everyone is welcome to participate.

Maundy Thursday Service

On Maundy Thursday, we gather to commemorate the Last Supper, where Jesus shared his final meal with his disciples. Join us in the evening at 7:00 PM, as we reenact this significant event and partake in communion together.

Good Friday Observance

Good Friday is a solemn day where we reflect on the crucifixion and death of Jesus Christ. At Twin Lakes Baptist Church, we will conduct a special Good Friday service starting at noon, providing an opportunity for contemplation and spiritual fulfillment.

Prayer Vigil

Throughout Holy Week, we will be hosting a Prayer Vigil in our beautiful prayer room. Spend time in quiet introspection, offering prayers and seeking spiritual guidance. Our doors are open day and night, allowing you to visit whenever you feel the need for solace and prayer.

Easter Sunday Celebration

Easter Sunday is the pinnacle of Holy Week, rejoicing in the resurrection of Jesus Christ. Join us in celebration at our Easter Sunday service at 9:00 AM and 11:00 AM. Experience the hope and joy brought forth by Christ's triumph over death as we come together as a community.
